AND, the death of jobs, AND, the death of incomes, and the death of eating out and buying HOUSES AND all those things, ETC, THAT OTHERS DERIVE THEIR INCOME FROM.

AND, a few people getting very, very rich, while more and more have nothing AND LIVE OFF THE GOVERNMENT.

The same idea with the post office and stamps and snail mail.

Soon, more will purchase their groceries on the internet and have them delivered, FEWER JOBS AND SO FORTH?

"New Jersey marijuana law must be not too loose, not too tight

Star-Ledger Editorial Board

In California and Colorado, loosely written medicinal marijuana laws have provided reefer for all. Dispensaries have popped up all over, and the two states have turned into Harold and Kumar movies with tens of thousands of pot-puffing extras.

What else is new or kept under the table in NY?
Hmmmmmmm!
-the nickle per bag tax proposal on grocery items.
-the soda tax
-the mandatory summons surcharges that now span years before removal.
-ILLEGALS GRANTED PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT AND REDUCED FINES IN COURTS.
-more hospital closings
-more fire department closings
-whole neighborhoods subject to gestapo stop and search protocols
-no relief to homeowners
-no jobs, no jobs, no jobs, no jobs, no jobs, no jobs,
CITIZENS RIGHTS? IF YOU RESIDE ANYWHERE OUTSIDE OF MANHATTAN OR ABOVE 96TH STREET, ...GO TO THE BACK OF THE LINE AND JUST PAY THE PIPER- OR LIVE IN FEAR OF HAVING PRIVILEGES REVOKED, AND CARS AND PROPERTY ATTACHED TO YOUR DEBT!
*Warning: Does not apply to bankers, select government officials, and other ponzischemers and extortionists. THEY'RE TOO GOOD FOR BUSINESS!

JUST GIVE ME THE MONEY! With the death of newspapers and internet news, the same with making your own coffee, pumping your own gas, and sorting your own garbage. No service for the public, just more profits for the owner and more unemployment, maybe living off a bigger national debt? AND, NO SERVICE FOR THE WORKING PEOPLE. When they can't charge you any more, they get the public to work for the company, whether it is making your own coffee, sorting your garbage or pumping your own gas, ETC.

More profits will go to the top--GREED--the owners of internet, news web sites--and all the newspaper employees will have NO job with a handful of Warren Buffets and Bill Gates with vertical economics controlling the world news and controlling (propaganda) for the public. And e-mail and internet news is cold, unlike the newspapers.

Henry Ford wanted to build a car for every family in the United States at the turn of the century.

robert: Question re: "New Jersey marijuana law must be not too loose, not too tight.
LET'S THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX FOR A MOMENT.
Other than an "age restriction",..."not in a public setting", and "no driving under the influence" or "in the presence of minors" mandates- what is the problem?
Pot smokers are less belligerent, more likely to listen to anothers point of view, more likely to expand discussion on a given topic, ... and so forth. THAT'S GOOD FOR INNOVATION AS OUR PRIVATE BUSINESS ADVOCATES WILL SURELY CONCUR.
Aren't pot smokers more likely to be impulse CONSUMERS. THAT'S GOOD FOR BUSINESS!
-----
I'd proposed that the person procuring the substance must provide accurate documentation declaring themselves a literate HSgrad, or higher to avoid detention. Period.
In this way, we could entice the younger generations to achieve at least some modicum of intelligence and knowledge and reward them upon compliance. IN ESSENCE "A GET OUT OF JAIL FREE CARD" with higher penaltys that include remand, for minors.
WOW! I WOULD BET YOU DOLLARS TO DONUTS THAT THAT WOULD IMMEDIATELY IMPACT AND LOWER THE DROP OUT RATE.
----------

After all most of them are expected to remain jobless in this new society of "elitist exempt" criminalitys anyway.

Ask this government- Isn't "amuse and sedate" the cheaper alternative to population control then the costs of penal housing w/ free cable and weight training? Much more, when you add in court, and security costs.

Just wondering.

This post was very nicely written, and it also contains a lot of useful facts. I enjoyed your professional way of writing this post. Thanks, you have made it very easy for me to understand. You'll also load up on criminology classes to get a basic understanding of how law enforcement officials do their jobs.

There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game. It does work either way; it just depends on which one is for you.

While this subject can be very touchy for most people, my opinion is that there has to be a middle or common ground that we all can find. I do appreciate that youve added relevant and intelligent commentary here though. Thank you! While Obama's strategy did not ignore the soccer moms, Nascar dads, and senior citizen voters of the country, he spent a great deal of his time campaigning to college aged voters.
