Clemens Indicted: Should Superstars Linked to Steroids Still Go to the Hall of Fame?

August 20th, 2010   (186 views )

WASHINGTON (AP) - Former major league pitcher Roger Clemens has
been indicted for allegedly lying to Congress about using steroids
and growth hormone. Clemens adamantly denied using the substances
in testimony he gave in 2008. His former trainer contradicted
Clemens about his use of performance-enhancing drugs.

No I do not think any player should get inducted or any credit for that matter, doesn't matter what sport is. Sports should be played truely. All Athletes should be tested more often. Its sad to see these high paid athletes doing this.

Sure, why not. What harm can come from letting them into the Hall of Fame? Hey the fans are allowed in, they allow in class trips, visitors and tour buses from all over. Why shouldn't a player on steroids be allowed in to look around and experience all that the Hall of Fame has to offer, plus it would probably be good for business. Players have deep pockets and the souvenir shop could surely use the business.

Absolutely not......not one of those
who have used steriods should have a
place in the Hall of Fame. Why do
we continue to reward the rule breakers
and what kind of a message does it send
to our kids today. Put him and the
others on the Wall of Shame. You can
list there records but with the indication that they did it by CHEATING!!!!

Great website...and cool article man...thanx for the great post...keep on posting such article... Did you ever realize that of all the calls made to appliance repair service shops, the need for a large number could be obviated if people would just use a little common sense in the way they used their appliances and other labor saving devices? All of us learn to use our appliances, our washing machines, dryers and dishwashers growing up watching our parents use their first machines.

While compliance in weight loss largely depends on the person's motivation and need, let us not forget of its benefits and risks. It's the same reason why your friends can eat 3000 calories a day and not gain any weight, while you gain weight by eating 800 calories a day.
