In the scheme of things, with all the serious topics, I don't think this topic will sway most people one way or the other.

I will second that motion Mike G. I thought there might be a question on how super pacs will influence the general election as it has in the florida election.

Has no one noticed that the millions and millions of dollars spent on the "drug war" in the USA has failed entirely to stop any drugs in this country? As we learned with prohbition, making alcohol illegal only promoted very rich and very violent gangsters. The same effect has happened by making drugs illegal. They have become expensive and make drug dealers and cartels very, very wealthy. The way to take violence and money out of drugs is to legalize ALL drugs, make them cheap and you will immediately kill the drug trade and be able to spend the money on drug treatment programs that might really change the paradigm.
